142 patients (Uzbekistan citizens) with closed-angle glaucoma (CAG) including 19 cases of acute course, 92 cases of subacute course and 31 - chronic were examined.
A comparative group consisted of 46 aborigines of Uzbekistan of the same age group (mean age54±3 years) without glaucoma.
Results of investigation revealed a statistically significant difference (p<0,001) in anatomic topographic parameters of eyes in healthy people of aboriginal population and in CAG patients as well as a significant difference of mentioned parameters depending on features of clinical course. Digital expressions of each signs and their aggregate that determined a reliable information for the early CAG diagnosis were found based on mathematical modeling. The depth of anterior chamber and the thickness of lens have the most informative significance (from 85,93% to 95,98%) in the prediction of disease.
The significant difference of topographic factors (aqueous humor secretion-F) were revealed in different variants of CAG clinical course. The F values over the norm (3,2 to 4,2) were interpreted as a hypersecretory component and were typical for CAG with acute course. Minimum F indices for attack appearance were calculated that allows to consider the aqueous humor secretion as a provoking factor of the glaucoma attack appearance in presence of predisposing anatomic topographic parameters of eyes.
